In Response To: Sintra PVC Board Question (Capt. Dave Kosh)

David,
545 is the paint of choice but...

My sales rep said that Sintra would yellow after a period of time in direct sunlight (like maybe a year or two?). Your is inside. For 25.00 a sheet, I would put it up and wax it with a product that has UV inhibitors in it. It may take a few years to yellow that way.

If you have the $$$ to paint, AWLgrip and AWLcraft are not cheap, nor is a decent paint gun and dry air source. If you are already set up to paint then maybe it's not a big deal for you.

I just had a hard time justifying 100.00 (or more) worth of paint for a 25.00 board on interior applications.
