I did the same on my 64 Sportsfisherman. I installed the Norcold AC/DC model DE-0051/DC-0051. It's cut-out dimensions were 20 1/2"H, 18 1/2"W, and 21" in depth. I paid for the carpentry, but had I known it would be so simple I wouldn't have. You remove the door by unscrewing the piano hinge. My carpenter just hit the old fridge with a sawzall and used the saved (from the door) formica covered pieces to cover/fill open areas. Mike is correct, although the unit has a molding type edge you screw into the opening, the bottom needs support. We put in thick wooden wedges. Wiring was a piece of cake and clear instructions are provided. Although I fought doing it for a long time, I have to admit, it's a nice thing to have. Damned expensive for what they are, though.

Before you start, measure your doorway entrance. It's no problem on a Sportsfisherman, but some with FBC's have had to remove a window to get it in the boat. Bigger is not always better. Walter
