One thing UV neglected to mention, but eluded too, was that you really need to join boatdiesel.com and read, read, read. You have what are probably the most reliable and durable of all of the Cummins 6Bs. Followed closely by UV's 250s. No aftercoolers to worry about, low horse power for the size, etc. Just get them into top condition and they will provide many thousands of hours of reliable service.
