Not much; but check rudder tables, strut pads, rear bulkhead, cutlass bearings, and take a good long look at the wiring for signs of internal corrosion. If out of the water I would give a carful inspection to the hull for any repairs (groundings). A serveyor will checks props for true (quick and dirty) bang the hull for delaminations and blisters, and just look at things with a trained eye. If you spend everyday looking at boats you get good at spotting bad stuff quick. yers you can put diesels in; but you may have to increase the engine deck height for some. The fiberglass guys make that mad a piece of cake. Good Luck. I had a 1973 28 FBC.
