In Response To: air bubbles (phil)

Phil,
I had the same issue with some of the work I was doing. Turns out that the warmer the work (wood, glass, etc) was before I started, the better the results and fewer bubbles.

Take a heat lamp and warm (not hot) the work really well and keep the lamp on it as it sets up. My guess is that as the west system cures, it warms up and creates bubbles as as there is a temp differential that is created between the epoxy and bonding surface.

This is not scientific but a pure guess based upon my experience.
