I believe it's the same White stone Va., where several years ago I had my S.S. shafts made. The shop advertised in the National Fisherman. The shop was a surprise to me, it was really well equipped and the guy that made the shaft[taper, keyway etc.] was really talented. He made custom
made keys to match the keyways while I waited and watched. We worked the shaft length out over the phone {new motors, new shaft leng.]when I ordered them. Then I drove down to pick them up. The price was good also. I saw the place/business was for sale several months ago in the Natl. Fish. Looked like a nice quiet town also, if it's the same place.
