Thanks UV. Last time I cleaned the cooling system in an engine I noticed a lot of soot in the after cooler. Only mineral spirits and a nylon brush would take it off. Acid bath didn't even touch it. This was prior to you mentioning the Tony Athens method of cleaning turbos. Interesting to see how they fair the next time I clean the cooling systems after this turbo cleaning method has been done.
