I put Patrick's rudders on my 28. I sent the check, he sent the rudders, everything worked as promised. The boat can be steered on one engine, no decrease in performance, and since they held up to the debris that took my transducer, shaft, strut and prop I can say they are definately not fragile.

It might be my imagination but it seems as if there is less steering effort required which suprised me due to the increase in surface area. Is this because of the rudder shaft being placed an inch or so behind the leading edge of the rudder?
