Pat:

i've always noticed that some valves are called "full flow"...what is the difference?...i'm assuming that a full flow valve of say 1 inch means that the opening inside the valve is a full 1 inch at all points...but does that mean that a regular valve of 1 inch may not have a full 1 inch of opening at all points inside the valve? I've also noticed that some fittings are sold the same way. on my CAT 3208's the Jabsco 6400 pumps have 1 1/4 inch openings...but the hose that goes from the seacock to the pump is 1 5/8...which i thought was odd when i first saw it...but maybe that's because the fitting on the seacock and pump are "full flow" and require a bigger hose?

...learning something new here every day...
