Greetings Faithful,

Well been mostly absent from the board do to personal stuff and Can Do It work.On the former big changes at the salt mine so self employment looks even better to me at this time. Been rough sailing here after 25 years.TV industry is going to all computers and a lot of people misfortunes.

As far as the rebuild of the Can Do It is concerned all I can say is thanks Patrick and others for the help. Now I know why the 1970 military hull is so heavy. Bulkhead was 2 layers of 3/4 inch marine plywood with rot all the way to the hull on starboard side. Cockpit deck was 3/4" and double 3/4" at the rear near the transom.

Deck not on yet and eveything is mosly gutted but my bulkhead came out nice thanks to Patrick's help. Now I know why these guys charge so much it's the labor. Especially if you want it done properly. You just can't get a glassman around here . They are all too busy so any job you need you are better off doing it yourself. You just need the time and patience. So I've been working almost all weekends and during the evenings avg 2 hours or so. See y'all later. Dave K
