UVI 5 update

Plenty of news, all good. Dates are now certain as I just confirmed that the New Orleans Invitational will be June 16-18, but headquartered in Venice as their clubhouse at Port Eads was destroyed in the hurricane. The UVI dates are: arrive Sunday afternoon, June 19, fish all week and depart Sat. morning, June 25.

It appears that the shortage of shore accomidations has been solved and we will have more and better places for the Faithful to crash. This will firm up in a week or so, but I have several viable options, so consider it done.

Have more than usual boats planning to participate (or as some would say, vie for second place) and the marina is in operation with fuel, power, ice and water.

Further good news that a local Faithful is on the verge of becoming the Steward of a really nice B31 FBSF with 6 BTA Cummins 250's, a huge genset, heavy a/c, full tower, etc. He sea trialed it yesterday and it met all the rpm, speed, and temp tests perfectly. I'll let him announce the details.

Getting ready for the local Mardi Gras parade downtown to watch a half million coonasses party.
