Hey Roland: Glad to hear from you..So ,what is biting ova there? Maybe Blue marlin?In a 20 ft whaler.Heh Thatll be fun.
My son got a 500lb Thrresher shark in a 21 whaler last summer.8 hr pull.LOL
I spent 5 days at the Midway atoll a few years ago ,couple Blue marlin, a 60# amber jack, right off the cargo dock, .Most awsome place ever.The place is flat like a sand bar.with a ring of reef around it where the smaller game hangs out .(like 100# trevaly,jacks,&such.)theres been a fishing closure there since WWII & it had only been opened for 3 years,many records broke in that 3 yrs. .LOTS O SHARKS!..now the fish & game closed it down again for the monk seal or the sea turtle.
Was pretty sparse too ,50 visitors only at a time.you live in the old navy barraks.
