glassing in front windows

Alright guys,

I have had it with the leaking front windows, and I am just about ready to jump in and pop 'em out. Is fiberglassing the window openings as easy as cutting ply to size, epoxying it in, fairing, sanding and paint? For those in the know, how hard is it? I'd much rather go this route than replace windows, frames, etc.
