A friend of mine just bought mercruiser factory rebuilt long block 454's, right and left rotation engines, he supplied just the block with valve and timing chain covers as core, all other equipment, carb.,heat exchangers, manifolds, wiring harness, everything forward of the transmission is new and installed by the vendor, for aprox. $13,500 for the pair. They will be test ran before leaving the shop when he is there. He will pick them up in two weeks and I'll look them over and let anyone interested know how they turn out. It sounds like a good deal, I'll know in a little while.
