Jack - they mean: (BER) it's made by Bertram, the hull # is 01966, the boat was completed in March, 1973 (o373), and it is a B25 model #4. Don't remember what the B25 model # 4 was, maybe a FB?

Beginning in November, 1972, all new boats were required to have the uniform # stamped on the outside of the stb. transom, like a VIN on a car. Part of the Safe Boating Act of 1972.

Any of the Faithful remember what a B25 model #4 was?
