Bruce: Why the 454 rather than the new 8.1L Crusader? I am doing a repower in a single screw application and have the chance to go either way. I was almost convinced on the 8.1L for its EFI, increased power, etc., but now you have me wondering as the previous 454 was good for 3200+ hours with zero problems although very thirsty. Would you please post your reasoning?
