From what I've read/been told, 496s marinized by volvo and merc. have had a problem with water vapor being drawn back into the motor by valve overlap. Crusaders, because of something different in their exhaust manifold design, don't seem to have this problem. Bruce is right--I'd check around big time to make sure this won't be a problem before I'd get the 496s.
