Linear Mufflers

Anyone know of these or installed them? Basically they appear to be a tube with baffles built in. I spoke with a guy at the company, said he had installed the super8 in an ocean with 420HP Cat 3126 - and they were well under the backpressure requirements. I've got 3208Ts with no mufflers - and no room for big vernatone mufflers - the boat is noisy - but no horrible - at some point, i'll be pulling my deck up to fix some supports and clean up the fule tank, etc...this would be tht etime for me to make a change like this...of course, these things are not cheap - about $1,000 with all the hardware and hose connections. - would be great to tone things down in the cockpit though - as always though, would like to hear some positive stories fromt he faithful before considering the $2K (and the associated approval process with my wife)
