It's a lot of work, and maybe you like the toilet between V berths, but I built an inclosure/standup head in the cabin. My 31 came with head located between berths. The rim of the toilet was level with the "outside" water line [depending on boat loading] and was extremely incovenient to use. It would also eliminate cutting up the new insert. Just a thought.
