Thanks for your opinions. I've got the idea from the specs of the 31 moppie where there is a stern with drives. Jack shafts is a god idea but the only reason to move the engines (destroy the boat) is to increase the liveaboard space and turn the boat into a more roomy family cruiser.

I have som nice drawings of the boat i am planning to build, with or withtout sterndrives. Custom or original.

But i dont know how to include a picture without an URL address.

If someone is intrested i can include them in a mail directly to you.
