William

You have 3 pretty good indications on what to expect. I ran for 10 years (3500 hours) with a set of 1984 vintage 350/260HP motors. Operating very heavy (about 16,000 pounds) I would average 0.9 to 1 nautical mile per gallon. If I was light, substanially less than the normal 260 gallons of fuel and the 100 gallon bait tank empty and only 1 or 2 people, I would get a little better than 1 mpg. I never had flow scans so I can not give you accurate fuel burn numbers at any given RPM or speed, just the over-all average.
