I use Fel-Tek as recomended on this site. http://www.fuel-tek.com/ As far as the Marvel Mystery oils is concerned it was intially recomended to me by one of the mechanics from the Volvo Dealership here in town. Then it was also recomended to me by Diesel Engine Surveyor Dan Mattos also here in town. I buy it by the gallon. Sounds like the Algae X units do there job. I still get a little smoke on start-up but it goes away shortly and running I only get occasional steam. Dave K
