Good one Bruce, as usual.
I insure a Doctor's office for him and he just bought an MRI machine. I checked out installation. A bldg (pre-fabed) was moved on site, it is completely lead lined , the door jams are of copper. The bldg was set then the 17,000 pound magnet was lowered thru the roof,it had to be heated for three days before calibration, about $800,000 total cost. One of the new "open" machines.
Bruce, I hope all is fine with you. Wife just had an MRI -$700 cost to us(deductibles and co-pays), God knows how much for the ins. company.
