I had the same problem and paid someone to do it for me since I had no time and the money to do it at the time. Cost me over $750.00 (for one)but I also put in a new steering rod , bearings etc. My wood was wet but not rotton at all. Use Corrosion X thin and thick grades on the bearings opting for the regular steel bearings like most people.
