The flop house was a joke. Got there with my dad and Capt Patrick. 2 rooms reserved and confirmed, yet the desk clerk gave Patrick a hard time with his room. It seems they overbooked and wanted to send him to their other flophouse on the other side of AC. However, after what seemed like forever, Patrick convinced the clerk to give him his room. Basically the jerk...I mean clerk, wanted to save the room for someone else that was arriving later. Patrick in his infinite wisdom declared....." I am here now, my room was confirmed, I need a room now, let someone coming later worry about staying elsewhere"!! Other than that.....it had hot showers, cable tv, cold ac and lumpy beds.......but the price was right......considering the alternatives. I beleive there was one other group from the confirmed at the flophouse, yet they did not arrive in time to claim their prize.
