Ed I should of listened to my bride. She told me to buy on the water in 1980 in Cape Coral. I said "If I can't pay cash for a lot I ain't buyin"
Well this extreme fiscal policy of mine allowed me to suffer the consequences. I finally wised up in 1988 and bought on time a waterfront lot on a canal off Hurricane Bay in Ft. Myers Beach. The lot sells ,not askes for 10 times what I paid for it then. There are no more vaccant lots in my subdivision. A tear down 2 bedroom very small bungalow , 1 car garage at $300,000 then you have to build or extensivly remodel. I don't know where it ends I just get on the Can Do It and go fishing. Sometimes and quite often I just do not want to return from the peace out there. But I know what the sea can do so I come home. Hinesight is allways better you know. Cheers baby!
