In Massachusetts we have Excise Tax on all vehicle/boat/RV etc. that you have to pay to the town you live in despite where the boat is registered or documented. Good news is that they value my 1975 FBC at $6,800 and at $25 per thousand its not too bad. Maybe I'll use that figure in the courts and only have to pay $3,400 to keep the boat. I think I could sell "High Hopes" pretty quickly for $6,800, even if it is an RLDT.
