Tim,
I have an old Winchester Model 1897 pump with a 30 inch full choke barrel. It used to be my grandfathers "marsh hen" gun down on the coast of Ga. I spent a fortune having the gun totaly rebuilt including recutting every letter and number on the barrel and receiver were it was very worn. The gun's design predates WW1 and it has a hammer which in my opinion is damn dangerous
on a 12 ga pump. I had it go off twice unexpectedly and itjust sits in the gun case. Don't do it....but then you already own an antique Hatteras.
