Thanks for all the info.
I have found that most manufacturers in fact have no idea what their safe hull speed is.They will tell you when they can that they have had the boat up to a certain speed and it performs well.
Other than that any more information becomes that buzz word of the 90's, liability.As Patrick stated on the 31, falling on the chine can be a real eye opener.
The other thing can be loss of control at higher speeds due to lack of boat in the water.
The 32 Luhrs open when approaching 29 knots tends to skate back and forth on its ass.
It has low dead rise. Like riding a dish down a ski slope.I will chart some L/B ratios with known dead rise angles and see if I can come up with some kinda constant.
