You kinda missed the point on that one. I agree they should get eaten. But the first point to go on the martyr's are the screws that attach the zinc, so they fall off, when most of the zinc is still there. Or they stay on, but spin free because they are eaten everywhere.

the Godfreys are eaten alright, but still in place tight. Good connection to the shafts. That is the key to a fully functional zinc.

Does that make more sense? It is a difference in the way the zincs attach. Not how they degrade or disappear.
