I spoke with the Garmin Tech at the NY boat show and was highly impressed with this unit. He told me that the present configuration allowed for connection to the Garmin black box fishfinder, and the XM WX weather satellite, and the radar box is just a few weeks away. All can be displayed simultaneously on 1 large screen or you can divide the screen into sectons. There is also input for a video source as well. The most interesting feature on the XM WX weather is the ability to see wind directions and sea surface temps in realtime, superimposed on top of your chart display. The only other system I saw with similar capabilities was Nobletech, and you need an onboard PC to tie it all together. The Nobletech was also more than twice the money of the Garmin. If I had enough pennies, there'd be a 3010c on Windstar ASAP.
