I have a mermaid I bought at the A.C. boat show 3 years ago. The model I bought is not revese cycle, but has a heating element in it so that when my boat is out of the water, in winter, I have heat[does't need water to run heat]. I bought Mermaid because several boats at my marina have had good success with them. I got a Boat Show price and they were very helpful and in formed. Where you boat[location] and who installs it and maybe price etc.[Merimaid is located near Balt. Md]will help you select size, brand etc.
