I just spent six hours in 2FT (OK) TO 4FT (NOT OK) seas right on the forward port quarter bringing Buddy Boy from Jupiter to Ocean Reef. Fell in love with my newest addition to gadgets, called a "Windaway Wind Deflector". Bought it over the internet and used it for the first time on the trip. Very handy and knocked virtually all of the wind and spray up over my head. Can be moved around on the windshield to the best location and stored when not needed. Excellent quality and very useful.
