Canadian Zincs

I understand that the general recommendation here is to buy only American zincs, because the canadian ones are crap and don't last nearly as long.

Trouble is, I can't find anyone that sells American zincs. And why is our zinc better anyway? Isn't Zinc (Zn) still zinc no matter where you get it?

So where do you find American zincs? Do I have to go to Canada to get them? Maybe I should get Iraqi Zinc- I bet that'll never go away. Probably have to go to China to find Iraqi zinc though
