Capt. Mike's SF story

Well, finally found the Jan. issue of Sport Fishing and Capt. Mike's whimsical story set in the context of the UVI. You have to read it a couple of times to get the full impact of what he was thinking, as it incorporates (shoooooooo, here I go into Lawyer-Speak) several different themes into one, from where Port Eads is ans what it's about, to ghosts, and it is a very fine piece of writing. I'm gonna wirte the editor of SF and compliment the story, (using just 'Uncle Vic' as one of our own has done a real deep analysis of why we do what we do.
Anyway, letters can be emailed to the editor of SF at sportfish@worldpub.net. Probably not a good idea to mention my name, just Mike's. I wrote them a crappy letter about 10 years ago accusing them of being too PC and tree-hugging and cancelled my subscription. Did notice one of the letters to the editor in this issue was bitching about some of the San Diego long range boats using small explosive charges to stir up the tuna fish at night. SF editor replied that explosives have no place in fishing. Hmmmmmm - if it had not been for explosives at night, and a telephone crank up connection to catfish in the Miss. River, UV could not have afforded college. Reminds me why I don't subscribe to this mag, but Mike writes for it, makes good money doing it, so again, don't mention my name.
Anyway, great story that defines us as B31 Faithful.
