All depends on how long it's been submerged...
The casing to bullet joint and the primer to casing joint are the entry points for moisture. If the powder is damp it ain't gonna' fire, regardless of the gun. Once rust sets up, (a few days), the gun's mechanisim can freeze. Barring wet powder, any gun will discharge under water within the first 72 hours... Keep the gun in a sealed heavy 1 gallon Zip lock bag & spare rounds in another...
