Wire brush or sand ithe surface rust off. Brush on Ospho, let it dry and turn black. Then spray with the manufacturers matching colored paint. If you don't have Ospho, zinc chromate or rustoleum is ok.
Purchase your engine paint from a truck supply house and it will be half the price of your Marina. The same exact can of Cummins white certainly was for me! Walter
