Pretty Names....Ugly Fish *LINK*

As we continually see one species after another being regulated due to "overfishing", we continue to see "new" fish popping up at markets and restaurants. Years ago, I was intrigued by seeing something called Orange Roughy on a seafood menu, then came Monkfish, then Chilean Seabass, and lately Tilapia. Who knows what will be next?

Well my mom (God bless her health concious, tree hugging heart) recently emailed a site to me that contained the list attached on the link below. You won't beleive what we are being sold in the markets and restaurants. Each fish name is linked to a page about that specific fish, including picture, species info, habitat info, and related health risks based on daily consumption.

Just remember......first you make a roux!
