JK....i've limped home 3 times on one engine with dripless shafts..(20 year old engines.)..the key word is limped....i didnt even tie off the non working side....as long as you run at less than planing speed it dosent seem to hurt...also i go back to the start point when drift fishing on one engine...i think the slower applications are not water cooled...the idea of cross over cooling seems like a good one.......patrick?.......randall
