Don't know if this a trend with the manufactures or not but I noticed the same thing with my Jabsco impellers. Lucky to get 1 year out of them now. I even change the face plate and inspect for smoothness all over the pump walls and back. I went back to rubber (Neopreme) as the Nitrle weren't lasting any longer, just more pressure.
