No Bruce. The shaft is inserted into the coupling 3/4 of the way in or about 2 1/2 " or so. So it is in far enough I would think. Now since I got the prop from my machine shop from Frank & Jimmies. I'll have to bite the bullet now and take it to another prop shop to do a prop scan.Boy how I just want to go fishing! So I guess I'll check the foregoing and if it still does it ,it has to be the prop. Fun for the holidays but at least we don't have to fight the snow!
