Patrick and Bruce,
Regarding the shore power issue, the power to the dock is 100 amp, single phase, 208 volts (drawing 220). This is all greek to me, but it's what the captain reports. There is only one meter at the house, but it splits after the meter with one line going to the panel box in the garage and the other line going directly to a breaker box on the dock. There you find two 100 amp receptacles.
Given this additional info, is there an adapter (pigtail or splitter) that will allow a step down for the 50 amp and 30 amp boater, or is additional electrical work required for this use?
Thanks
Tommy
