Shaft/Vibration Question

Well after a test run Saturday on the Can Do It my new port shaft and new prop have a little vibration that I noticed. It comes into play at 2200 RPM. I always had a little vibration on that engine at 800-900 RPM and went away always after and before that. So I'm going to check the following and see if maybe Bruce or Patrick has anything to add.
1) Check my prop key (Bronze) make s sure it's in there correctly comparing it to my known good (Starboard)
2) Check shaft alignment at the coupling after my boat is in the water for 48 hours (S. Florida 65 deg water temp now)
3) Check for broken engine mount . Using the pry bar method or any other that the failthful may be better.
4) I know the new shaft is really true and a new prop so that leaves those two out of the picture.I know it wasn't right just by the sound before I felt a small vibration at 2200. Kind of sounds like a prop when you are just ready to run aground but I was in clear water 8 feet deep in channel.
5) I had to insert shaft only 3/4 into coupling because of the length but I think this is perfectly OK. Demension between prop and strut is 1 3/8" with an 1 1/2" AM 22 shaft so that falls in correct window.
I'll check prop key tonight and put her in the water for alignment check on shaft and then check engine mounts by pry bar method. Any better way?Dave K
