In '85 I started the Palm Beach Chapter of Florida Conservation Association. FCA was the sister organization of Gulf Coast Conservation Association, (GCCA), both of which became Costal Conservation Association as membership spread into Georgia and north.

John was a key member on my Board of Directors and after I stepped down as Chapter President, (3 years), John became the Chapter President, later to move on to State President.

Tried to get John to come to the UVII-1, but Rip Cunningham had him tied to the grindstone. Maybe we can convince John to swing in on the UVII-5...
