Couple yrs ago, sitting on the beach in September, on Fire Island,NY, a guy in a kyack casts into a school of blue fish very close to the beach. Then the jerk goes right thru the school of fish and after that paddles back to the beach. It was rough water because of the wind and he had trouble getting back in , so I thought. As he got to the waters edge, he falls over and out of the boat. Only then did he stand up and reel in two big blue fish.
