Thanks Vic. You just helped me and a lot of other folks out. Guess I better change the year date in my Loran C. and change my memory battery. Problem is the electronics shop says the next time it dies it's dead. Hopefully they're wrong...That is a little scary but would be only temporary but would always happen when we are using it. Thanks again for the heads up. Dave K
