Capt Dana,
All of the glass in "Buddy Boy" is 1/4" Tempered Greylite 14.
All un-laminated interior surfaces that could even remotely come in contact with water are sealed with epoxy, then primed & painted, (2 or more coats), with premium quality oil based enamel, mostly Benjamin Moore. Some of that even got a shot of primer and Imron. Safe stuff was sealed with a couple of coats of sanding sealer, then primed and oil painted. No bare wood was left, at least none that I know of...
The interior grade cabinet plywood is fine for INTERIOR work, as long as it's fully sealed & painted, or laminated. Any exterior lamination, (aft bulkhead), was laminated with epoxy rather than contact adhesive.
Best regards,
Patrick
