John,
Basically you'll laminate the whole sheet of plywood before making even the first cut. Much easier than laminating a bunch of parts. The laminate comes sized larger than a standard sheet of ply, & is trimmed after glueing it down with a router and laminate bit.
The overall process is something books are filled with... You should be able to buy a DIY book on laminating from some place like Home Depot. The glue you'll use is contact adhesive. There are tricks to it and your jointery needs to be very accurate for cabinetry.
