The plan was to catch some live herring to liveline for stripers. After catching a nice batch we headed to the inlet only to find rough conditions......high winds, dirty brown water and lots of seaweed. So we went back inside for more herring.

You are right on both assumptiions. No conger eels and no human jumper cable. The boat ran perfectly.

Dick,

Just as a reminder those fish were herring. The total haul was close to 40lbs plus 2 mackeral courtesy of Chris.

Hope you guys had a good time and if the weather gods permit, the plan is to get outside this Sunday and try for some togs..(blackfish).
