This is not a Parrot fish, it is a type of Wrasse. It is hard to tell the exact species but is in the Labrodia group. In the Indo-Pacific there are over 180 different kinds of them, hard to tell about the Atlantic. A Parrot fish does not have lips, a Wrasse does, and sometimes has large canine teeth as well. If you have never tried Parrot fish as table fare you are missing out. It is a delicate, very flaky white meat, almost comparable to Wahoo. Best baked or steamed. Most of the Wrasse over 15 inches are great eating as well.
